I’d Pick You – A Mother’s Day Tale
The most precious gifts don’t come wrapped in ribbons…
A heartwarming story follows Little Fox on a journey to find the perfect Mother’s Day gift. But when none of the meadow’s beautiful flowers feel quite right, Little Fox discovers that the best gift of all can’t be picked—it’s found in the love he shares with his mom.
With gorgeous illustrations and a heartfelt message, I’d Pick You is a tender celebration of the bond between mother and child—reminding us all that love is the greatest gift of all.

Creative Path
While I have been working on improving my craft and storytelling skills, I’ve independently published several children’s books and illustrated stories, including:
• Magical Adventures & Pony Tales series – heartwarming short stories inspired by my lifelong love of horses and time competing in dressage, showjumping, and eventing.
• Magic and Mage – a middle-grade witch-lit series about sisterhood, secrets, and courage to be yourself.
• I’d Pick You – a tender picture book celebrating the bond between mother and child, launching this year.
I’ve also written comic scripts for the Dutch magazine Penny, and my short play has been performed at several festivals.
A Little Magic

- Harry Haunts – a middle-grade paranormal mystery with humour and heart.
- Caramath – an epic middle-grade fantasy about a blacksmith’s apprentice destined to restore light to a kingdom surrounded by dark magic.

Current Work-in-Progress
The Unchosen – Middle Grade Tehno Thriller: A band of quirky preteens unite when they suspect their Australian bush summer camp is a testing ground for a sinister mind-control experiment facilitated through mobile phones. Stuck in the middle of a national park while their fellow students and councillors turn into a zombie horde, The Unchosen must discover that their unique differences aren’t just key to their survival, but the only hope to save every mind on the planet.
